Configurable Actions
Dragonfly offers a wide, extensible array of configurable actions that allow you to switch states, for example from Track mode to Zoom mode, and to perform common tasks such as making measurements, painting on images, and selecting objects in multi-labeled regions of interest.
The available configuration actions are listed in the Configurable Actions preferences and can be edited, if required. Choose Configurable Actions in the Preferences dialog to view the Configuration Actions preferences, shown below.

If required, you can search for a specific configured action.
How to Modify a Default Action
If required, you can modify the default key mapping scheme and mouse actions in the Key Definition dialog, shown below.

- Choose Configurable Actions in the Preferences dialog.
The Configurable Actions preferences are displayed on the right side of the dialog.
- Double-click the entry you plan to modify.
The Key Definition dialog appears.
- Do the following, as required:
- Press the keyboard key that you want to be associated with the entry.
Key combinations can be defined by checking one or more of the following: Left Shift, Right Shift, Left Ctrl, and Right Ctrl.
NOTE Duplicate keys are not recommended. If you try to map an action to a key or key combination that is already in use, the matching action will be displayed in the Key is already used by field.
- Press the mouse button that you want to be associated with the entry.
- Press the keyboard key that you want to be associated with the entry.
- Click OK to apply the change.
How to Remove a Configured Action
Refer to the following instructions if you need to remove a configurable action.
- Choose Configurable Actions in the Preferences dialog.
The Configurable Actions preferences are displayed on the right side of the dialog.
- Double-click the entry from which you plan to remove key mapping.
The Key Definition dialog appears.
- Do the following, as required:
- Check the No key option in the Keyboard box.
- Check the No mouse button option in the Mouse box.
- Click OK to apply the change.
